Hello Winona Indivisible Members,

Across the country—from the fruit fields in California to classrooms in Winona, from kitchens in Queens to loading docks in Atlanta—working people are uniting. We are calling for stronger neighborhoods, safer communities, and better wages for all working families. But we can't achieve this without your support!

Commemorating the sacrifices of workers who fought for the eight-hour workday, May Day 2025 will span over 100 cities and carry on the legacy of those workers by fighting for a country that is more fair, just, equitable, and free for all its citizens—and not just a chosen few. 

On May 3rd, we hope you will join us in Winona, MN as part of MAYDAY 2025. It will be from 12 pm - 1:30 pm in Windom Park! A sign making session will be held on April 30th at 12 pm in the Kensington Building Basement!

Together, we will show up with laborers, parents, community members, students, and everyday people who are coming together and raising their voices for better, safer, and stronger communities–places that center the needs of working families, neighborhood public schools, affordable housing and access to high-quality healthcare above the interests of millionaires and billionaires and their corporations. 

On May Day, we will significantly change how we approach the needs of working families by prioritizing their experiences. We will move our nation towards a society that focuses on the rights and well-being of those who work for a living.
