April 5th: Hands Off! Debrief

Indivisible Members across the nation made HISTORY on April 5th! 

An estimated 5.2 million people participated in Hands Off!, making this one of the largest organized protests in history. And the Winona community did their part! 

There were massive rallies throughout the US (and in other countries too, such as France, Germany and Lithuania) to tell the government HANDS OFF our social security, our immigrant students, our LGBTQIA2S+ neighbors, our private data...

too many things to list! 

Over 1,000 people attended our rally in Winona. It was historic to see so many people bring their creative signs and positive energy to this rally. 

We had 3 speakers: a student, a veteran, an individual who relies on social security. We had great music and great cheers!

We saw so many people of all ages & backgrounds,

united together to make a better world possible for all!
